Individualized Home Support (IHS) Worker

Pay: $21.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time

Training: Paid training provided

About the Position

We are looking for caring, dependable, and compassionate individuals to provide Individualized Home Support (IHS) to clients in their homes and communities. Training is provided, so previous experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support based on each person's needs and goals
• Assist with daily living activities and household tasks
• Support clients with community participation and independence
• Encourage positive routines and life skills
• Provide companionship and respectful, person-centered care
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment
• Complete required documentation and follow care plans

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation may be required
• Previous caregiving or direct-support experience is a plus, but training is provided
