Can you turn a request into a ready-to-execute plan?

If you thrive on clarity, coordination, and results, this role is your arena. You’ll walk the floor, validate non-emergency work requests, and convert them into plans that are safe, efficient, and resource-ready.

Your impact

  • Will you scope each job precisely after inspecting the site? You will—and you’ll document requirements thoroughly.
  • Can you accurately estimate labor hours, trades, parts, materials, equipment, and special tools? That’s your standard.
  • Do you know where to find what you need? Drawings, schematics, specs, spare-part lists, equipment history, OEM manuals, and Knowledgebase entries—collected and applied.
  • Will every scheduled job have parts confirmed and special/auxiliary tools arranged? Yes.
  • Can you sustain a prioritized backlog with a Ready Backlog of 80% or more? That target is yours to own.
  • Are you comfortable leading weekly planning/scheduling sessions with Production to set priorities, share status, and pivot when necessary? Absolutely.
  • Will your Weekly Technician Schedule fully utilize available technician labor hours (100%) across planned work and PM tasks? That’s the expectation.
  • Can you raise planning effectiveness through reviews and maintenance metrics? You’ll make it measurable.
  • Will your documentation stand up to analysis and reporting needs? Meticulous records are part of your craft.
  • Can you champion CMMS adoption and data integrity by training site employees? You’ll lead the way.

Qualifications checklist

  • Associate degree (technical) with 1–3 years in maintenance planning/scheduling; or 5–10 years as a machine repair technician; or an equivalent combination.
