Oxford at Work is a progressive, onsite Occupational Health and Safety practice providing innovative injury prevention, wellness, and ergonomic services to employers throughout the Greater Cincinnati area. We are growing and looking for a motivated Athletic Trainer or Physical Therapist to join our team as a full-time Injury Prevention Specialist serving the Northeast Greater Cincinnati area.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, building relationships, and using their orthopedic and wellness expertise outside of a traditional clinical setting.

What You’ll Do

As an Injury Prevention Specialist, you’ll work directly with our employer partners and their employees to help reduce workplace injuries and improve overall health and wellness. You’ll have the opportunity to leverage your orthopedic, injury prevention, ergonomic, and wellness skills while making a meaningful impact for our clients.

This position offers a great deal of independence and flexibility, including the ability to complete your designated “office time” from a location that works for you.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Athletic Training from an accredited college or university with current NATA BOC ATC certification; OR

• Licensed Physical Therapist with current Ohio licensure

• One to two years of professional experience preferred

• Orthopedic experience preferred

• Interest or experience in ergonomics and/or wellness

• Industrial or ergonomic experience is a plus, but not required

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with individuals at all levels

• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently

• Valid driver’s license required

All certified and/or licensed Athletic Trainers must meet applicable education, certification, and licensure requirements. Athletic Training programs must meet applicable accreditation requirements through the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE), and Athletic Trainers must maintain appropriate Board of Certification (BOC) credentials.
