Schedule
Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with occasional overtime as needed.
A Day in the Life
Start with a walk-through of PLCs, HMIs, DCS, VFDs, instrumentation, and supporting electrical systems to ensure stable operation.
Jump on priority issues—troubleshoot faults, trace ladder logic, and bring equipment back online safely and efficiently.
Partner with production, quality, and safety to identify root causes and implement durable fixes that improve reliability and product quality.
Lead small technical upgrades and mentor technicians, reinforcing high-quality maintenance practices and documentation.
Review electrical drawings and control documentation to plan maintenance, modifications, and continuous improvement tasks.
What You’ll Work On
Installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and programming plant control systems (PLCs, HMIs, DCS, VFDs, instrumentation, and electrical infrastructure).
Diagnosing equipment issues and implementing improvements that elevate reliability, efficiency, safety, and finished goods quality.
Providing hands-on guidance, training, and mentoring to technicians.
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and ladder logic to support maintenance and optimization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
3+ years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience, including PLC programming, hardware, and equipment troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics; experience with high and low voltage; capable of interfacing with ladder logic.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Background in alcohol beverage, food & beverage, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturing.
Rockwell Automation controls training or certification.
Experience with Allen‑Bradley and Panasonic PLCs.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds without assistance.
