Join SAVARD Personnel Group - where your skills are valued! We're looking for an experienced Industrial Blaster/Painter who can hit the ground running. If you have experience blasting and painting pressure vessels, structural steel, piping, or industrial equipment, we want to hear from you. Key Requirements:
Industrial blasting and painting experience required.
Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, masking, and abrasive blasting.
Safely operate blasting equipment and apply industrial primers, paints, and protective coatings.
Mix coatings and apply finishes according to project specifications.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and proper coating coverage.
Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and coating specifications.
Maintain blasting and painting equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
Follow OSHA safety procedures and properly wear required PPE.
Experience with pressure vessels, structural steel, fabrication, or oil & gas equipment is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in varying temperatures, and wear a respirator and other required PPE.
Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision.
