Job Skills / Requirements

As an Industrial Cleaner / Sanitation Associate you'll help maintain a clean and safe production environment by sanitizing equipment, tools, and facility areas while following food safety standards. Your attention to detail helps ensure the quality and safety of the products we produce every day.

Schedule: 32 hours/week

• Monday-Thursday 7:45AM-4:30PM

OR

• Tuesday-Friday 7:45AM-4:30PM

Pay Rate: Paid Weekly

• $18.25/hr

A Day in the Role

• Clean and sanitize production equipment (mixers, conveyors, molds, packaging machines, etc.) according to daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation schedules.
• Disassemble and reassemble food processing equipment to ensure thorough cleaning and proper functioning.
• Use industrial cleaning chemicals and sanitizers safely and effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, drains, ceilings, and other surfaces in production and packaging areas.
• Handle and dispose of waste materials and recyclables properly.
• Safe handling and proper disposal of sanitation chemicals.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety standards, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities, including checklists and cleaning logs.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or sanitation issues to supervisors promptly.
• Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to support a safe and efficient workflow.
• Wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and follow all safety protocols.

Requirements

• Pass background check and drug screening.
• Attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Maintain strong safety awareness.
• Follow GMPs, SSOPs, safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong attention to detail.
