INDUSTRIAL CLEANING TECHNICIAN – BrooksvilleWe are seeking a dedicated Industrial Cleaning & Sanitation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment, ensuring that all areas are safe and sanitary. Job Description:
Cleaning and Sanitizing:
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and/or wax floors.
Clean and sanitize surfaces such as tables, chairs, countertops, and door handles.
Clean and sanitize break rooms and other common areas.
Trash Removal:
Empty trash cans and recycling bins and replace liners.
Transport waste to designated disposal or recycling areas.
Dusting and Polishing:
Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
Restocking Supplies:
Replenish supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and cleaning products.
Outdoor Maintenance:
Sweep sidewalks, remove debris and garbage from employee break areas (inside and outside), and maintain outdoor areas.
Safety:
Ensure that cleaning chemicals are stored properly and used safely.
Follow safety protocols to avoid accidents or injuries.
Inventory Management:
Keep an inventory of cleaning supplies and request new orders as needed.
These duties can vary depending on the specific needs of the building or organization.
Breakdown/Sorting (As Needed):
Sort and disassemble consumer electronic devices, such as TVs, computers, et.
Identify and separate parts for scrap or reuse.
Operate basic hand tools and equipment for disassembly.Top of Form
Requirements:
Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience.
Previous janitorial experience.
Basic knowledge of electronic products.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing special products (preferred).
Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds during your shift.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Benefits:
