About the Opportunity
Express Employment Professionals in Lynchburg is recruiting an Industrial Coatings Spray Technician on behalf of a valued client in the Lynchburg area. You’ll be a key part of the finishing process for manufactured lift system components used in medical, residential, and mobility applications—bringing each product to life with a clean, consistent, professional finish.
A Day in the Role
You arrive to a well-organized production floor, review the day’s build plan with the assembly team, and move straight into surface prep. Once parts are staged, you set up your spray equipment, verify materials, and apply coatings to metal parts and assembled components with precision. Throughout the day, you inspect coverage and appearance, keep the line moving in sync with production timelines, and end your shift by cleaning tools and maintaining a safe, orderly workspace.
What You’ll Do
- Paint and finish manufactured lift system parts and components.
- Use spray painting equipment to achieve a clean, consistent, professional finish.
- Prepare parts as needed before painting.
- Inspect painted parts for coverage, quality, and overall appearance.
- Work closely with the assembly team to support production timelines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow company procedures for handling materials, tools, and equipment.
What You Bring
- Spray gun experience required.
- Background in industrial, production, automotive painting, or manufactured parts finishing preferred.
- Proven ability to apply paint evenly and professionally to metal parts, components, or assembled products.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect finished work for quality and appearance.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing, assembly, or production environment.
- Collaborative mindset to work closely with assembly team members and keep production moving efficiently.
- Reliability in following instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently once trained.
Compensation & Schedule
Pay is $18 to $24 an hour, depending on proven skills and experience. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
