What You’ll Do

• Install HVAC systems in commercial and industrial settings: AC units, boilers, refrigeration, ventilation, and control components.
• Run and join copper refrigerant and hydronic piping (brazing, soldering, threading, pro‑pressing).
• Build sheet metal ductwork from rough‑in through finish.
• Interpret schematics and design plans to lay out equipment and perform trade‑related math.
• Generate accurate material lists for the foreman as projects progress.
• Work safely and efficiently while coordinating with multiple trades.

Experience & Credentials

• 5+ years in commercial HVAC installation.
• Proficiency with HVAC and construction trade tools.
• Working knowledge of OSHA practices and HVAC operating/control systems.
• EPA/OSHA certifications are helpful but not required.
• Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems is a plus.

Equipment & Systems Exposure

• DX packaged and split systems
• VRF technologies
• Geothermal systems
• Hydronic heating, cooling, and process systems
• Boilers and gas heat
• Ventilation systems and HVAC controls
• Chillers and cooling towers (nice to have)
