Take the next step with a fast-paced construction organization tackling commercial and industrial renovation, adaptive reuse, and CapEx projects across the region. This Industrial Construction Project Manager opportunity is based in Memphis, TN with regionally supported work-from-home flexibility and meaningful on-site involvement for project success.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Industrial Construction Project Manager position include:
- 5+ years of project management experience (3-5+ years preferred; JD lists 5 years PM experience).
- Experience with commercial/industrial construction, cost estimation, and adaptive reuse of commercial industrial buildings.
- Conduct commercial/industrial construction cost estimation, including preliminary estimates during planning and updates during pre-construction.
- Support permitting by working with the design team and assisting with scheduling inspections and Certificate of Occupancy where applicable.
- Provide, monitor, and update project schedules covering design, pre-construction, construction, and tenant deliveries.
- Assist with value engineering for adaptive reuse projects by evaluating scope, methods, techniques, and materials.
- Support cost containment through administration and validation of subcontracts, self-performed work, and change orders, including variance reporting.
- Maintain quality control by monitoring design and construction to meet standards, including coordinating special testing when required.
Salary: $55K-$125K per year, commensurate with experience.
