What Success Looks Like
- You manage the entire recruiting cycle for skilled trades—sourcing, screening, coordinating submissions, closing offers, and supporting onboarding.
- You architect multi-channel sourcing plans: job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and targeted industry outreach.
- You maintain proactive pipelines for roles such as HVAC Technicians, Pipe Fitters, Plumbers, Sheet Metal Mechanics, Welders, Foremen, Supervisors, Project Managers, and other specialized positions.
- You cultivate long-term relationships with candidates to drive repeat placements and a strong talent community.
- You run structured, in-depth interviews to evaluate skills, experience, culture fit, and career goals.
- You partner with clients to clarify needs, timelines, and team culture—then deliver top-matched candidates quickly.
- You elevate the candidate experience at every touchpoint.
- You negotiate offers to create win-win outcomes.
- You document everything clearly and completely in the ATS.
- You track market signals and adopt recruiting best practices.
- You represent 10X Workforce at career fairs, industry events, and networking functions.
Scorecard
- 30 days: Calibrated to client needs, active pipelines launched, ATS workflow humming.
- 60 days: Consistent interview cadence, candidate submittals aligned to priority reqs, feedback loops tight.
- 90 days: Offer conversions, repeat placements from your network, and measurable impact on client fill rates.
What You Need
- 3+ years of recruiting experience required; experience in skilled trades, construction, industrial, manufacturing, or staffing strongly preferred (not mandatory).
- Understanding of blue-collar labor markets and skilled trades roles.
- Exceptional communication, interviewing, relationship-building, and negotiation abilities.
- Self-motivated, organized, and outcomes-focused.
- Comfort in an agile, fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
- Demonstrated sourcing and candidate development expertise.
- Experience with ATS platforms and recruiting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience welcomed.
