Job Description
Industrial Construction Superintendent
The Industrial Construction Superintendent will:
- Manage all field operations from project startup through closeout
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
- Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved
- Conduct daily jobsite meetings and oversee construction activities
- Enforce safety policies and maintain OSHA compliance
- Monitor project quality and oversee QA/QC initiatives
- Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Work closely with Project Managers to address field issues and maintain project schedules
- Track jobsite productivity and identify opportunities for improvement
- Maintain daily reports, schedules, and project documentation
- Manage punch list completion and project turnover activities
- Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders

The successful Industrial Construction Superintendent will have:
- 7-10 years of Superintendent experience in construction
- Experience overseeing industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, distribution center, or large commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, site logistics, and safety requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and project activities simultaneously
- Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- OSHA certification preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to proactively resolve jobsite challenges and maintain project schedules
- Proven track record of completing projects safely, on time, and within project objectives
