Industrial Construction Superintendent - North Jersey

Description

The Industrial Construction Superintendent will:

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from project startup through completion
• Manage daily field operations and coordinate subcontractors and vendors
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved
• Conduct jobsite meetings and communicate project expectations to field personnel
• Monitor quality standards and oversee QA/QC initiatives
• Enforce company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment
• Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with project requirements
• Collaborate with Project Managers to address schedule, budget, and field challenges
• Identify and resolve jobsite issues in a proactive manner
• Maintain daily reports, project documentation, and progress updates
• Manage punch list completion and project closeout activities
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders

Profile

The successful Industrial Construction Superintendent will have:

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience in the construction industry
• Experience managing industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or large commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, site logistics, and safety requirements
• Ability to lead field teams and coordinate multiple trades simultaneously
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
• OSHA certification preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to drive schedules and deliver high-quality projects
• Proven track record of successful project execution and field leadership
