Industrial Controls Electrician

Employer: Summit Service Solutions

Location: Lock Haven, PA

Schedule & Pay: Full-time, first shift; $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience

A day in the life

You arrive at the Lock Haven manufacturing facility and step into a floor alive with motion—conveyors humming, robots indexing, packaging lines sprinting toward quota. Your morning starts with a quick walkdown to verify phase rotation on a newly installed transformer, then you pull feeder for a VFD-driven motor upgrade. After lunch, a packaging line faults: within minutes you’ve traced a control signal through the PLC I/O, checked a photo eye, and restored production. By day’s end, a preventive maintenance checklist is closed out, and tomorrow’s equipment relocation is staged and ready.
