Efforts focus on providing long term support for the operation and maintenance of existing facilities with respect to the electrical power generation and distribution systems. The incumbent serves as the owner of the electrical systems and the electrical business process.Job Duties:Owner of the site electrical business process which provides direction for maintaining the electrical infrastructureWorks under very general supervision and guidance, with more detailed instructions on new assignments. Works with manager to establish priorities and timelinesUses judgment and discretion to solve a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Seeks guidance from supervisor and more senior peers as needed when determining appropriate courses of action. Regularly exercises independent judgment and discretion regarding matters of significanceResearch, design, test and install electrical apparatus, components and equipmentPlan, direct and coordinate activities in the operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and systemsServe as electrical system owner and primary technical consultant by providing electrical engineering expertise, direction, and work oversight to contractors, vendors and suppliersReview schematics plans and procedures and make recommendations to management for equipment selection, design, installation, commissioning, and validation.
