Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Heavy Industrial Belt Tech Supervisor / Sales Representative for our client, an industrial conveyor services company supporting mining operations and heavy industrial facilities. This role combines hands-on field leadership with business development and account management responsibilities. The ideal candidate has strong conveyor belt splicing experience, leadership ability, and the confidence to build long-term customer relationships in mining and industrial environments.
Pay & Schedule
Pay: $36$38/hour
Additional Compensation: Commission and pay increase opportunity at performance review
Shift: Regular day shift, MondayFriday, 7:30 AM 4:30 PM
Schedule Expectations: This is a 24/7 operation requiring on-call availability, emergency response work, overtime, and occasional weekend work

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead belt splice crews at mining operations and industrial facilities
Perform and oversee mechanical and vulcanized conveyor belt splicing
Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials for scheduled and emergency work
Troubleshoot conveyor systems and recommend repair solutions
Train and mentor technicians on safe and efficient splicing procedures
Participate in shutdown planning and outage scheduling
Complete service documentation and maintain accurate job records
Develop and maintain customer relationships within mining and industrial operations
Conduct site visits to assess conveyor system needs and recommend solutions
Prepare quotes, service proposals, and supply agreements
Support sales growth through account management and business development activities
Represent the company professionally at customer sites and industry events
Follow all MSHA, OSHA, and site-specific safety requirements
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of conveyor belt splicing experience in mining or heavy industrial environments
Strong understanding of conveyor systems and related components
Experience leading crews or supervising field work
1+ year sales, customer service, or account management experience in industrial environments
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
MSHA certification or ability to obtain
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to customer and mine sites
Ability to work extended hours, emergency call-outs, and weekend work as needed
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
Preferred Qualifications
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Experience working in mining operations or aggregate environments
Experience with shutdown work and outage scheduling
Background in industrial services or conveyor-focused operations

Work Environment
This role operates in both field and mining environments supporting conveyor systems and industrial operations. Work includes exposure to heat, dust, heights, confined spaces, heavy equipment, and emergency response situations. PPE and safety compliance are required at all times.
