Description
Are you the go-to brazer for big copper and tight tolerances?
If your best work happens with an oxy-acetylene torch in hand and silver-based alloys at the ready, we’d like to talk. This is a 3–6 month on-site contract in Virginia supporting the fabrication and installation of refrigeration and water subassemblies for commercial HVAC equipment.
What will you work on?
Construct and install refrigeration and water subassemblies for commercial HVAC systems.
Cut, bend, fit, and braze copper tubing to precise specifications.
Execute copper-to-copper, copper-to-stainless, and copper-to-brass joints using oxy-acetylene and silver-based filler materials.
Handle large-diameter brazing from 2-1/8" to 4"+ and deliver leak-free results.
Follow blueprints, BOMs, ECNs, diagrams, and work instructions accurately.
Where and how long?
Onsite in Virginia for 3–6 months
How are you compensated?
$34/hour
50+ hours/week guaranteed
$45/day tax-free per diem (7 days/week)
Private, single-occupancy hotel accommodations provided
Paid travel time
Do you fit the profile?
3+ years of recent commercial or industrial brazing experience (residential-only does not qualify).
