What you will be doing:

· As an Industrial Designer, you’ll evaluate and analyze product requirements, objectives, and constraints.

· Assists with developing technical and functional specifications for mechanical products.

· Conceptualize and develop new products that can be effectively manufactured.

· Conducts simulations and prototype testing to evaluate product safety, reliability, and performance.

· Aid in identifying appropriate materials and processes to develop effective solutions that meet the outlined specifications and manufacturing cost requirements for products.

· Help maintain the injection mold tool status and injection mold processing spreadsheets.

· Prepares technical documents detailing designs, instructions, and specifications.

· Utilizes SolidWorks and other design and modeling tools to develop mechanical manufacturing parts and/or components and communicate conceptual designs to stakeholders.

What they are looking for:

· BS in Industrial Design or a closely related field and 7+ years of design experience with injection molded plastic products. A basic understanding of injection molding principles.

· Proven project management experience from initial product planning and scope definition through delivery to customers.

· Excellent SolidWorks design skills.

· Good Microsoft Office and Adobe Illustrator skills.

· Must be open-minded, team-oriented, clear communicator, with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

· Good mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new processes.

· Must be able to work with minimum supervision, meet time sensitive deadlines, keep accurate records, and work in a collaborative environment.
