Build Work You Are Proud to Put Your Name On

Electrisource is hiring an experienced Industrial Electrical Foreman or Project Lead to lead crews and execute challenging industrial electrical projects.

This position is for someone who takes ownership, sets a high standard, and expects the same from the people working alongside them. We are looking for a leader who shows up prepared, solves problems, keeps projects moving, and takes genuine pride in outperforming expectations.

You will not be standing around waiting for someone else to make decisions. You will be trusted to plan work, direct manpower, communicate with customers, and ensure every installation is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead electricians and apprentices on industrial electrical projects
  • Plan daily work, manpower, materials, tools, and equipment
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, schedules, and scopes of work
  • Coordinate installations with customers, project managers, vendors, and other trades
  • Lay out conduit, cable tray, equipment, supports, and electrical systems
  • Oversee conduit installation, wire and cable pulling, equipment connections, controls, and terminations
  • Identify problems early and develop practical solutions
  • Track project progress, labor hours, materials, and upcoming needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and productive jobsite
  • Enforce safety requirements and proper work practices
  • Train less-experienced electricians and hold the crew accountable for workmanship
  • Complete accurate daily reports, time records, and project documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Strong industrial electrical construction and installation background
  • Demonstrated experience leading electrical crews or major project work
  • Ability to independently read drawings and plan electrical installations
  • Strong knowledge of conduit systems, cable tray, feeders, equipment wiring, controls, and industrial electrical practices
  • Ability to estimate manpower, materials, and time required for assigned work
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel when required
  • Ability to consistently arrive on time and ready to work
  • Commitment to safe, high-quality workmanship

A Connecticut electrical license is required.

The Person We Want

You may be a strong fit if you:

  • Take pride in doing clean, professional work
  • Notice problems before someone has to point them out
  • Hold yourself and your crew to a high standard
  • Enjoy completing difficult work faster and better than expected
  • Stay productive without constant supervision
  • Treat schedules and commitments seriously
  • Are willing to step forward, make decisions, and take responsibility
  • Want your performance to be recognized and rewarded

This is not the right position for someone who needs to be repeatedly told what to do, regularly arrives late, or considers “good enough” acceptable.

Compensation and Benefits

Electrisource offers:

  • $45–$55 per hour, based on experience

  • Health insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off
  • Paid holidays
  • Annual performance bonuses
  • Company-paid travel expenses when traveling
  • Opportunities for overtime
  • Long-term advancement opportunities
  • The ability to lead important projects and make a visible impact
