A fast-growing, stable manufacturing company is seeking an
Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the team. The Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on critical electrical systems, equipment, and power generators to minimize downtime and support safe, reliable production.
The ideal candidate will have an extensive industrial/manufacturing maintenance background, strong electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently. This is a hands-on maintenance rolenot an installation-only position.

Schedule: Dupont schedule 3 days on, 3 days off
Responsibilities:Electrical Maintenance- Execute preventive electrical maintenance work orders to prevent unexpected equipment failures.
- Perform corrective maintenance and repairs on critical electrical equipment to minimize production downtime.
- Execute improvement and safety-related electrical work orders to prevent accidents during equipment operation.
- Troubleshoot electrical failures and restore equipment functionality efficiently.
- Diagnose electrical faults and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Recommend equipment lockout (LOTO) in case of electrical failures to ensure personnel safety.
- Propose electrical spare parts required to ensure proper equipment operation.
- Support ongoing reliability and equipment improvement initiatives.
Power Systems & Generators- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot power generators to prevent damage to critical equipment during power outages.
- Ensure electrical systems operate within defined parameters.
- Troubleshoot electrical distribution and power-related issues as needed.
Systems & Reporting- Register and close work orders in the maintenance management system to document technical activities, spare parts usage, and equipment history.
- Accurately document maintenance activities, failures, repairs, and findings.
- Report failures, interventions, and relevant findings to the Electrical Maintenance Coordinator.
- Use SAP or a similar maintenance/ERP system when applicable.
Safety & Compliance- Perform electrical maintenance tasks in strict compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
- Identify electrical hazards and assess risks prior to executing tasks.
- Apply proper LOTO procedures and other required safety practices.
- Comply with all Integrated Management System requirements (quality, environment, safety, occupational health, BASC).
Requirements:- Technical degree required in Industrial Electrical Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Electromechanics, or a related electrical field preferred.
- Equivalent hands-on industrial electrical maintenance experience will be considered.
- Proven experience performing electrical maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment is required.
- Heavy industrial/manufacturing experience required. Facility maintenance, commercial building maintenance, and residential electrical experience will not be considered.
- Experience in aluminum, metals, plastics, glass, or similar manufacturing environments is highly preferred. Oil & gas experience alone is not the target background.
- Experience in aluminum, metals, plastics, glass, or similar manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
- Experience in metallurgical, metal-mechanical, or other heavy industrial manufacturing environments preferred.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills are required.
- Experience troubleshooting equipment failures and restoring production equipment to operation.
- Experience working with critical electrical systems, equipment, power distribution systems, and generators.
- Experience with industrial electrical maintenance procedures and preventive/corrective maintenance.
- Experience with power generators and electrical distribution systems.
- Basic electrical safety procedures, including LOTO, confined spaces, and work at heights.
- Experience with maintenance management systems; SAP or similar preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, communication, and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
