Weyerhaeuser Company is currently recruiting for skilled Industrial Electricians with a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of electrical equipment, processes and techniques to repair, modify, install and maintain the facility and high-tech lumber manufacturing equipment. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for leading identifying safety, environmental, quality & production issues; coordinating activities with production teams to maximize productivity and minimize cost, reducing waste and taking measures to proactively address all concerns. Additionally, you will work with each team by proactively resolving machine issues, building teamwork, and ensuring adherence to all applicable site policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner. Manage and utilize preventive electrical systems to reduce unscheduled downtime. Efficient use of reliable troubleshooting methods to ensure up-time, production volume and quality goals are met. Perform electrical repairs safely and efficiently. Perform visual inspections and coordinate repairs. Coordinate electrical repairs, input computer work requests, communicate with planning department & operating teams. Ensure quality of electrical work is done in a timely manner. Proper documentation on pm, breakdown, or project work is input in CMMS Responsible for applicable permitting (hot work, red tag, cross connection) Understand what impacts machine reliability & quality and makes improvements. Analyze equipment failures to prevent reoccurrence (work with craft and operating associates) Assist with mechanical and operational tasks as needed during breakdowns
