Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair within a manufacturing/industrial facility.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, machinery, motors, controls, and power distribution equipment.
- Perform electrical maintenance and installation on plant equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Diagnose electrical breakdowns and power failures and determine the appropriate repair.
- Work with motors, generators, transformers, circuit breakers, control panels, switches, wiring, and other electrical components.
- Use multimeters and other electrical test equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Assist with electrical controls and related mechanical repairs.
- Follow established safety procedures and good maintenance practices.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician credentials from an accredited program or an Associate's degree in Electrical Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of industrial electrical experience.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot electrical systems independently.
- Must be able to pass an electrical written test.
Ideal candidates will have experience working with industrial machinery and electrical maintenance in a plant or manufacturing environment.
