Industrial Electrician

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join a high-volume aluminum extrusion manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for electrical troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and installation of industrial production equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair 480V 3-phase electrical systems
• Diagnose electrical issues using a multimeter and electrical test equipment
• Troubleshoot motors, motor controls, starters, contactors, relays, and sensors
• Wire and troubleshoot 3-phase motors
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Troubleshoot control panels, electrical components, and production equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and electrical projects
• Troubleshoot electrical issues involving extrusion presses, conveyors, heaters, hydraulics, and auxiliary equipment
• Follow all OSHA, NFPA, and facility safety procedures
• Document completed work and maintenance activities

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial electrical experience preferred
• Strong understanding of 480V 3-phase electrical systems
• Experience troubleshooting industrial manufacturing equipment
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Comfortable using a multimeter and other electrical testing equipment
• Experience wiring and troubleshooting 3-phase motors
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to equipment downtime
• Aluminum extrusion experience is a plus, but not required
