Pay: $38.00-$48.00 / hour, based on experience

Relocation Assistance: Available for qualified candidates relocating 100+ miles

Shift Options: 6:00 am-6:00 pm or 6:00 pm-6:00 am

Schedule: 12-hour compressed rotation-work just 182 days per year while maintaining full-time pay and benefits.

Quad is hiring an experienced Industrial Electrician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment at our Hartford manufacturing facility.

This is a hands-on industrial electrical maintenance role-not an electrical engineering or PLC programming position.

You''ll work directly on manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting 480V three-phase systems, motors, VFDs, relays, contactors, sensors, control circuits, and PLC-controlled machinery.

We''re looking for an experienced industrial electrician who knows how to find the problem, make the repair, and get the equipment running again.

What You''ll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems on industrial production equipment.
• Diagnose 480V three-phase power, motors, VFDs, motor controls, sensors, relays, contactors, and control circuits.
• Use meters and diagnostic tools to trace electrical faults.
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Use PLC software to troubleshoot equipment, trace ladder logic, and diagnose inputs, outputs, sensors, and interlocks.
• Perform preventive maintenance and support equipment installations and upgrades.
• Follow lockout/tagout and electrical safe work practices.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of hands-on industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and machine repair skills.
• Experience working with 480V, three-phase power, motors, VFDs, and industrial controls.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot control circuits.
• Experience using PLCs as a troubleshooting tool.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work a 12-hour compressed schedule.
• Personal hand tools appropriate for the position.

Preferred: Journeyman credentials, Allen-Bradley PLC experience, or experience in high-speed manufacturing.

A four-year engineering degree is not required.
