    Description

    Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support plant operations through installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and production equipment. This role is fully onsite and requires hands‑on work in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Diagnose and correct issues in PLC logic to minimize downtime.
    • Support new equipment installations (preferred but not required)
    • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and code specifications.
    • Perform preventive maintenance and maintain accurate maintenance records.
    • Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, voltage, current, and resistance.
    • Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, conduits, feeders, receptacles, lighting fixtures, and fiber‑optic/coaxial cable assemblies.
    • Troubleshoot and repair electrical components of production machinery, including motors, relays, overloads, switches, sensors, and VFDs.

    Qualifications (Must-Haves)

    • Must pass background and substance screening.
    • Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
    • Troubleshooting and correcting PLC programming issues to restore equipment functionality.
    • Associate degree in a related field or equivalent hands‑on industrial electrical experience.
    • Ability to lift 75 lbs., climb ladders, work overhead, kneel, twist, and stand for extended periods.
    • Installation and repair of electrical wiring, conduits, feeders, receptacles, lighting fixtures, and fiber‑optic/coaxial cable assemblies.
    • Diagnosis and repair of machine electrical components including motors, relays, overloads, cables, switches, sensors, and VFD/variable‑speed drives.
    • Maintenance, repair, installation, and testing of switchgear, transformers, switchboards, motors, generators, alternators, regulators, reactors, industrial batteries, and hydraulic/pneumatic electrical control systems.

    Work Environment:

    • Heavy‑industrial manufacturing setting.
    • Requires adherence to safety protocols and use of PPE.
    • Full‑time onsite role requiring daily presence on the plant floor.
