**Job Title: Electrician (Manufacturing/Industrial Environment)

**

**Job Summary

**The Electrician is responsible for supporting and maintaining the facility’s physical infrastructure to ensure optimal performance across all departments. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnostics, and working with electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position requires adaptability to evolving technologies and a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and reliability.

This is a dynamic, detail-oriented role that combines independent work with team collaboration. Problem-solving, dependability, and strategic thinking are essential for success.

**Key Responsibilities

**

  • Meet and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service

  • Follow all safety standards, regulatory requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment issues

  • Read, interpret, and create wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints

  • Work with electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature/pressure controls

  • Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), including basic and ladder logic

  • Perform analog and digital circuit design using microprocessor hardware and software

  • Install, maintain, and repair wiring, conduit, and electrical equipment

  • Connect power supply wiring to machinery and equipment

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective solutions

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, breakdown reports, and equipment modifications

  • Update schematic drawings to reflect system changes

  • Plan and execute wiring layouts for new and existing equipment

  • Assemble and test electrical components prior to installation

  • Diagnose complex and non-routine electrical issues, including power quality problems

**Required Qualifications

**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment or industrial machinery, or equivalent combination of education and training

  • Strong ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints

  • Experience programming PLCs using basic and ladder logic

  • Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)

  • Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentation

  • Strong understanding of industrial controls and mechanical systems

  • Experience with microprocessor hardware and software configurations

  • Ability to perform basic analog and digital circuit design

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Good visual acuity, including color differentiation
