**Job Title: Electrician (Manufacturing/Industrial Environment)

**Job Summary
**The Electrician is responsible for supporting and maintaining the facility’s physical infrastructure to ensure optimal performance across all departments. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnostics, and working with electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position requires adaptability to evolving technologies and a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and reliability.

**Key Responsibilities
**
Meet and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service
Follow all safety standards, regulatory requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment issues
Read, interpret, and create wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
Work with electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature/pressure controls
Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), including basic and ladder logic
Perform analog and digital circuit design using microprocessor hardware and software
Install, maintain, and repair wiring, conduit, and electrical equipment
Connect power supply wiring to machinery and equipment
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective solutions
Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, breakdown reports, and equipment modifications
Update schematic drawings to reflect system changes
Plan and execute wiring layouts for new and existing equipment
Assemble and test electrical components prior to installation
Diagnose complex and non-routine electrical issues, including power quality problems
**Required Qualifications
**
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of five (5) years of experience diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment or industrial machinery, or equivalent combination of education and training
Strong ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
Experience programming PLCs using basic and ladder logic
Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentation
Strong understanding of industrial controls and mechanical systems
Experience with microprocessor hardware and software configurations
Ability to perform basic analog and digital circuit design
Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Good visual acuity, including color differentiation
