Industrial Electrician
ZELTWANGER USA manufactures specialized, high-precision parts and assemblies for a variety of industries such as manufacturing, automotive, and packaging. ZELTWANGER is an innovative, expanding group of companies with an excellent name in the fields of manufacturing services, automation, robotics, material handling, and leak testing.
We are seeking a full-time Industrial Electrician who will install and maintain the electrical wiring, fixtures, systems, and equipment in the plant.
What you will do as an Industrial Electrician:
- Install and repair electrical wiring and equipment systems, as well as fixtures in buildings.
- Inspect electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.
- Disassemble machines for electrical work and reassemble after completion.
- Gather and assemble parts for repairs or modifications based on machinery documentation.
- Troubleshoot and repair machines including when unexpected issues arise.
- Provide advice and recommendations to management concerning building and machinery electrical needs.
- Conduct safety inspections of electrical components for plant.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Your profile:
- Certification required.
- Vocational school or Associates degree in related field preferred.
- At least two years of experience required
- Thorough and broad understanding of a variety of equipment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough understanding of safety practices, guidelines, rules, and laws.
