    Job Description

    The Industrial Electrician role provides superior maintenance in installing, operating, maintaining, and repairing electric devices and electrical wiring at the Toledo Plant. This includes a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure.Hourly rate, per the union contract, is $36.43.Shift schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm.RESPONSIBILITIES

    Install conduit and wiring for lighting, power circuits, and power control equipmentInstall wiring, motors, drives, and new shop equipment per prints and instructions of the Electrical Shop Supervisor and Electrical EngineersSafely work on 4160 Volt, 480 Volt, 110 -220 Volt, and DC VoltagesAbility to work as a group on construction projects or as an individualTroubleshoot and repair all electrical equipment such as A.C. and D.C. motors, controls, transformers, electrical instruments, electronic equipment, limit switches, safety equipment, shrink wrap machine, robots, etc.Continuous operation of all electrical equipmentAnalyze and locate source of electrical trouble with a minimum delayMust know the location of all sprinkler valve controls and be responsible, in case of fire, for cutting off electrical equipment endangered by the fireMonitor plant Systems, compressors, boilers, water, etc.Responsible for Powerhouse operations in conjunction with other shift tradesmenComplies with all safety requirements set forth by the Plant Environmental Health & Safety DepartmentMust wear all PPE required for ARC Flash

    REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

    Individuals who possess a state certified journey persons card, or the equivalent for the skill needed, will be considered for hireStrong understanding and passion for safe, clean, and organized work environmentsApplied knowledge of effective trouble shooting and root cause analysisAble to read schematics and ladder logicUnderstanding or experience with Allen Bradley Drives, Controls, PLC/SLC controllers and drives, PAC's, AC and Servo Technology, power distribution, relay controls and HMI's

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

    Must be willing to work swing shift.Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment (noise, high temperature, dust, heights).Must pass pre-employment tests including a drug screening, background check , physical, Functional Capacity Exam and respirator test.
