Shift: Day, Swing as assigned

P.P.E: (Hard Hat, Hearing Protection, Eye Protection, Gloves, Three Lock Out Devices, Face Covering-Provided) Work Boots-Not Provided.

Machines/Tools:

Machines/Tools Training Provided: Yes

Working Conditions: Inside/Outside Work, Excessive Heat/Cold/Noise, Wet Surfaces, High Speed Equipment, Dust and Heights up to 50’

Physical Requirements: 90% Standing, 0% Sitting, 10 % Walking, Kneeling, Squatting, Reaching, Bending, Twisting, Repetitive use of Hands/Wrist/Arms/Legs.

Lifting: Occasional Weight-20 to 100 lbs., 50 of Shift Lifting.

Wrist Repetition: Occasional Weight 30lbs.

Push/Pull: Occasional Weight 20 to 100 lbs.

Driving: Occasional Forklift/Bobcat/Man lift.

Job Duties Overview:

An Electricians Primary responsibility is to Maintain, install and repair electrical power, communications, Lighting and control Systems, and should understand basic electrical theory. They need to work with all team members to minimize downtime. Use professionalism to analyze and detect electrical problems in the facility. An Electrician will evaluate all situations and follow all safety protocols to resolve any given problem. Electricians work with a team of millwrights and report directly to their supervisor for any support.

Safety:

  1. Setting an example for safe behavior.
  2. Challenge unsafe behavior.
  3. Reinforce safe behavior.
  4. Identifying and correcting hazardous conditions.
  5. Follow all facility safety procedures.

Housekeeping:

  1. Employee must return all company tools to proper storage and pick up all waist when done with the job.
  2. Help with general clean-up of shop area.
  3. Keep personal work areas clean and clear of debris.

Productivity:

  1. Ability to identify wires correctly.
  2. Ability to perform electrical tests, read results and diagnose and repair problems.
  3. Research for parts to do the job assigned.
  4. Complete work orders in a timely manner.
  5. Critical thinking.
  6. Time Management, strong work ethic is an integral part of this job.
  7. Minimize Downtime.

Interpersonal:

  1. Teamwork.
