Summary:
Applies industrial engineering concepts, techniques, and analysis to promote and implement changes in manufacturing, engineering, and service operations.
Independently develops models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze data including statistics, operations research, and engineering economics.
Provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to customers including management, departments, and suppliers.
Applies advanced industrial engineering techniques to product and process design teams throughout all phases of product lifecycle.
Researches, designs, develops, improves, and implements processes to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality.
Applies advanced Lean and other Industrial Engineering concepts for large scale systems integration and asset utilization.
Manages, defines, negotiates, and controls scope, cost, and timing of projects using project management tools including work break-down structure, precedence network, and resource allocation.
Utilizes advanced engineering methods including mathematical models, simulation, and statistics to develop optimal process designs and efficient utilization of resources.
Analyzes and designs value stream including capability, capacity, throughput, work flow, and logistics.
Designs, develops, analyzes, tests, evaluates, and implements processes and technology insertions to optimize production system design and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent directly related to the work statement.
2+ years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes.
2+ years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, or production environment.
Preferred: Skilled in effective time management, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred: 2 or more years of experience working in a team environment.
Preferred: 2 or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles.
Preferred: Experience developing and deploying standard processes.
Preferred: Proficient in structured problem solving.
Preferred: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
