Job Title: Industrial Engineer 3 

Location: North Charleston, SC

Salary Range: $55 - $60/hour

Introduction

Applies advanced Industrial Engineering concepts, techniques, analysis and decision tools to promote and implement changes in manufacturing, engineering, and service operations. Independently develops models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze data and provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to customers. Researches, designs, develops, improves, and implements processes to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality through the application of advanced Lean and other Industrial Engineering concepts for large-scale systems integration and asset utilization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
• 2 years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes.
• 2 years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, and/or production environment.
• Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Skilled in effective time management, communication, and organizational skills.
• 2 or more years of experience working in a team environment.
• 2 or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles.
• Experience developing and deploying standard processes.
• Proficient in structured problem-solving.
• Proficient in Client Office Suite products.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Applies industrial engineering concepts, approaches, and techniques to product, process, and services to meet program requirements of moderate complexity.
• Designs, develops, analyzes, tests, evaluates, and implements processes and technology insertions by applying industrial engineering techniques and concepts to optimize production system design, operational efficiency, and after-market services.
• Monitors performance, supports production and systems to meet operational and functional requirements.
• Leads metrics, data analysis, and improvement plans, related to our team’s productivity, efficiency, and first-time quality; including Lean events, 5S improvement plans, and/or special initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness.
