Industrial Engineer
Location: Appleton, WI
Job Summary:
We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to support manufacturing operations through Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, and productivity improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Analyze assembly processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Conduct time studies, video time studies, work measurement, and line balancing.
Perform Value Stream Mapping (VSM), capacity analysis, and bottleneck identification.
Identify waste and process inefficiencies using Lean principles.
Develop and improve standard work and work instructions.
Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, Kaizen, and continuous improvement projects.
Analyze productivity, quality, downtime, and process performance.
Develop improvement recommendations and implementation plans.
Support fixture and manufacturing process improvements.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in manufacturing or assembly operations.
Experience with time studies, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing, and process improvement.
Knowledge of VSM, standard work, root cause analysis, and Kaizen.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
