PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The individual in this position will manage Industrial Engineering projects relating to the design, development, testing and evaluation of integrated systems for managing industrial production processes. The role will focus on human work factors, employee and equipment productivity, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production planning.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Extensive project management skills needed to plan details of assigned work, including methods and scope of work under the functional guidance of senior personnel where some detailed outline of procedures and desired results are given.
- Able to accomplish design concept through to completion as a prototype, and to meet definite performance metrics with cost limitations and a specified time span.
- Coordinate design and development of projects, and all related activities, to ensure compatibility of design and adherence to specifications.
- Establish and conduct tests, analyze and interpret test results.
- Prepare reports summarizing methods employed and results obtained in the solution of assigned projects.
- Recommend methods for improving utilization of personnel, material, and utilities.
- Ability to work on various Industrial Engineering projects within a global matrix organization through to completion.
REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, Industrial Engineering preferred
- 2-5 years of related manufacturing/industrial engineering experience.
- Must have strong familiarity with Microsoft Office products, (especially Excel), AutoCAD, and related software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
