We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Develop, maintain, and execute the master production schedule to support operational goals and customer delivery requirements.

  • Design, develop, and optimize efficient manufacturing processes for both new and existing products.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to integrate new machinery, equipment, and technologies into production operations.

  • Assist in developing and improving production scheduling processes to ensure timely delivery and optimal resource utilization.

  • Implement level-loading strategies to balance workloads, improve capacity planning, and maximize throughput.

  • Conduct time studies, workflow analyses, and process evaluations to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.

  • Lead initiatives to rapidly scale production volumes while maintaining quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

  • Apply lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational performance.

  • Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when necessary.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including aerospace manufacturing requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment; startup manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Proven experience developing and optimizing manufacturing processes and workflows.

  • Strong knowledge of production scheduling, capacity planning, and level-loading techniques.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative manufacturing environment.

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience integrating new machinery, equipment, or technologies into manufacturing operations.

  • Knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies, including automation and additive manufacturing.

  • Proficiency with manufacturing software tools for scheduling, production planning, and process optimization.
