Synigent is seeking an Industrial Engineer for our client in the Memhis, TN region. This role will drive operational improvements across a fast-paced distribution and warehouse environment. This highly visible role will focus on process optimization, labor efficiency, warehouse layout design, Lean initiatives, and cost savings across multiple facilities.

Ideal candidates will have experience implementing measurable operational improvements within distribution, warehousing, or production environments and be comfortable working directly with operations leadership and executive teams.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead process improvement and Lean initiatives across distribution operations
  • Analyze workflows, labor standards, KPIs, layouts, and material flow
  • Develop warehouse layouts and operational solutions using CAD and engineering tools
  • Conduct time studies and support labor planning initiatives
  • Drive measurable cost savings, productivity improvements, and operational efficiencies
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, leadership, and customers on improvement projects

What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
  • 2–4+ years of Industrial Engineering experience in distribution, warehousing, or manufacturing
  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of WMS systems, data analysis, labor standards, and process optimization
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work directly with leadership teams
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred

This role offers exposure to large-scale operational initiatives, multi-site projects, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on distribution performance and customer operations. Moderate travel between regional distribution centers required.
