Industrial Engineer needed: Ocala, FL.  Must be Clearable!
 
We have an opening with a great client of ours and we are looking for an Industrial Engineer to work a contract position in Ocala, FL. This is a 12 month long contract position and you must be a US Citizen to apply. Required: US Citizenship and Residency, W2 hourly Contract Only, No 1099, No third parties, no C2C.  No exceptions (Sorry)
 
Pay: $55 to $62.26/hr. D.O.E.    Must be Clearable!
 
INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER  
  • Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work-flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
  • May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.
  • Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
  • On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.
  • May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.
 
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Candidate must have at least 6 years of experience with Factory Layout and Design
  • Candidate must have at least 6 years of experience with developing large layout designs for equipment and workspaces to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Candidate must have at least 6 years of experience with Proven track record in work measurement and time standards.
  • Candidate must have at least 6 years of experience with various work measurement techniques such as predetermined motion time systems (PMTS), work sampling, and direct time study.
  • Extensive experience in continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Candidate must have at least 6 years of experience with data analytics and statistical analysis.
  • Candidate must have at least 6 years of experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software
  • Candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
