Industrial Engineer
Location: Ocala, FL

Pay Range: $50-62 an hour
12 month contract


Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.
Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.
May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.


Required Experience:
* Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
* Candidate must have at least 6 years of experience with Factory Layout and Design
* Candidate must have at least 6 years of experience with developing large layout designs for equipment and workspaces to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
* Candidate must have at least 6 years of experience with Proven track record in work measurement and time standards.
* Candidate must have at least 6 years of experience with various work measurement techniques such as predetermined motion time systems (PMTS), work sampling, and direct time study.
* Extensive experience in continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
* Candidate must have at least 6 years of experience with data analytics and statistical analysis.
* Candidate must have at least 6 years of experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software
* Candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
