POSITION: Industrial Engineer (Quality Control)
DUTIES: Operate and inspect tools using various inspection equipment, including micrometers, calipers, digital microscopes, and other tools. Ensure all tools are manufactured to specifications using prints/drawings, and discuss discrepancies with the Senior Tooling Engineer and the Manufacturing Plant Manager. Read production drawings and product requirements, and their critical characteristics. Use micrometers and calipers to ensure the material meets the specifications. Ensure all inspection equipment is set up safely and is operational. Monitor inspection equipment operation for safety. Adjust inspection equipment as required to address dimensional non-conformities. Report any machine malfunction or safety condition. Ensure product quality is maintained.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field, and 36 months of experience as an Industrial Engineer or closely related occupation.
Hours: 40 hours a week, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Salary: $91,645.00/Year
