Bridgestone Americas, Inc. (BSAM), headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, and Bridgestone Europe, Middle East and Africa (BSEMEA), headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, operate collectively as a “Bridgestone West” strategic region. This region services the strategic business needs of teams across the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa. BSAM and BSEMEA are subsidiaries of Bridgestone Corporation, globally headquartered in Japan. Leads projects or processes of diverse scope, while working independently with limited supervision
Supports continuous improvement/automation activities
Establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel
Conducts cost/inventory/production control and human factors studies to develop and implement plans for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods
Assists manufacturing plant/facilities engineers with facility planning and design
Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
