Lead Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team.
• Support new product development from concept through production launch.
• Design and improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and production methodologies.
• Oversee engineering documentation, process controls, work instructions, and engineering changes.
• Partner with production teams to resolve technical and manufacturing challenges.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Quality on PPAPs, process validation, corrective actions, and compliance activities.
• Manage engineering projects, timelines, budgets, and cross-functional resources.
• Support tooling development, die design, implementation, and performance improvements.
• Provide technical support for customer requirements, product applications, and manufacturing optimization efforts.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
• Experience leading engineering teams or technical projects.
• Strong background in precision manufacturing, metal stamping, machining, assembly, and tooling.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and manufacturing best practices.
• Experience within ISO-certified manufacturing environments.
• Proven success driving process improvements, cost reductions, and productivity gains.
• Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills
