We are seeking an experienced Project Technical Leader to oversee the technical execution of large-scale industrial engineering projects. This role combines technical leadership, project coordination, equipment engineering, and customer-facing responsibilities. The successful candidate will bridge multiple engineering disciplines while ensuring project deliverables meet quality, schedule, and budget objectives.
As the technical lead, you will work closely with Project Management, Supply Chain, Construction, and Engineering teams to develop innovative solutions and ensure successful project delivery from bid stage through final execution.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Support proposal and sales activities by reviewing customer specifications and participating in technical bid development.
- Participate in customer technical clarification meetings and provide engineering expertise during the proposal phase.
- Lead the technical execution of projects with accountability for quality, schedule, and budget performance.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Review and validate engineering designs and technical calculations.
- Develop and issue technical documentation including P&IDs, functional descriptions, procedures, and design deliverables.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams through design, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Perform sizing and selection of industrial equipment, including pumps, piping systems, valves, and related process equipment.
- Support procurement activities through technical RFQ preparation, vendor evaluations, and equipment selection.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing, quality inspections, and resolution of non-conformance issues.
- Assist construction teams and project management with technical troubleshooting and field-support activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and project performance.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience leading technical activities within an industrial project environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, process engineering, heat transfer, or related industrial technologies.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with equipment sizing, specification, and technical evaluation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- Familiarity with CAD and engineering design environments.
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Self-directed with strong project management and organisational abilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and team collaboration.
