Job Description:

The Engineering Supervisor works with engineering departments to develop, implement, and deploy approved operational processes and best practices consistently throughout the company. He/She will train I.E. resources in the approved processes and standards for work measurement application and will maintain the SCS database which houses such information. This position will assist the I.E. departments in special reengineering or new projects, as necessary. The Engineering Supervisor will take a lead role in planning and execution of large project implementations or training initiatives. He/She may also manage other subject matter experts to ensure timelines and project deliverables are met and developing Web Application training material for use by Operation Trainers. This position may also be responsible for coordinating Operation Trainers efforts in field training. This position may supervise others.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial analysis to develop business cases to secure funding for project execution

  • Identify, quantify & Implement cost savings / continuous improvement / innovation projects to drive increased efficiencies (layout, processes, automation)

  • Analyze data to determine optimal storage environment / design / layout

  • Analyze data to determine optimal resources (Labor/Staffing and MHE) based on volume and WMT standards with pack outs and shipping documentation complexities

  • Analyze facility capacity and utilization trends for future planning needs

  • Utilize AutoCAD to develop layout (facility, storage, processing area) designs optimized for warehouse process efficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Time management skills including an ability to work in a fast-paced complex environments, multi-task, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines under pressure.

  • Independent and able to work with limited supervision

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrates an understanding of supply chain concepts; recommends changes to solve supply chain problems

  • Demonstrates an understanding of common financial terms and calculations

  • Experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse, Logistics Industry (*IE Experience)

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, Teams, OneNote, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) & AUTOCAD

  • Understanding of Warehouse Management System (WMS) design and functionality

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in Industrial Engineering or related field

Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $75,660.00/year to $123,000.00/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate's work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
