Imagine starting your shift with a quick floor scan: you listen for a bearing that’s just beginning to sing, verify the day’s PMs, and coordinate with production to schedule a brief window for a motor swap. By midday, you’ve installed a new line component using detailed blueprints, fabricated a bracket to spec, and documented a root-cause fix that will prevent a repeat failure. This is the rhythm of our Industrial Equipment Maintenance Millwright—part troubleshooter, part builder, all reliability champion.

How you’ll contribute

  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and boost reliability.
  • Diagnose mechanical failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Repair/overhaul bearings, gears, motors, and hydraulic components.
  • Install, modify, and relocate machinery guided by blueprints and engineering specs.
  • Leverage welding, fabrication, and machining to create or restore parts.
  • Collaborate with maintenance peers and production to enhance performance and throughput.
  • Keep the workspace organized and compliant with all safety procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement focused on process efficiency and equipment reliability.

What it takes

  • High school diploma or GED (technical or trade school preferred).
  • At least [number] years as a millwright or industrial mechanic.
  • Strong command of hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial electrical systems.
  • Welding, fabrication, and machining proficiency.
  • Comfort reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work solo and within a team environment.
  • Physical capacity to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
