Express is seeking a skilled Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician to support our facility in Goldsboro, NC, 27534. You’ll be the go-to problem solver who keeps production humming—prepping machines for the next shift, tackling repairs, and staying ahead of issues before they impact operations.
A Day in the Life
Start your shift by reviewing work orders and safety priorities. You’ll set up machines for the oncoming crew, complete routine maintenance, and conduct inspections to keep everything aligned with safety standards. When urgent requests arise, you’ll respond quickly, diagnose the issue, and get equipment back online. Throughout the day you’ll document what you’ve done, collaborate with teammates to refine processes, and pitch in on new equipment installs. You’ll wrap up by organizing your work area and leaving a clear trail of maintenance records for continuity.
What You’ll Handle
- Set up machines for the next shift to ensure a smooth handoff.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
