Job Responsibilities -
- Perform hand painting of industrial equipment using appropriate coatings and application techniques.
- Apply epoxy coatings and other industrial-grade materials to equipment surfaces as required.
- Complete light maintenance and refurbishment tasks to restore equipment to operational and cosmetic standards.
- Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming prior to paint application.
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications.
- Handle and store paints, coatings, and related materials in compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to manage workflow and meet project timelines.
Job Requirements -
- 2-3 years of experience painting industrial equipment.
- Hands-on experience with epoxy coatings and industrial paint systems.
- Ability to perform light equipment maintenance and refurbishment work alongside painting duties.
- Proficiency in surface preparation techniques including sanding, masking, priming, and cleaning.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing a high-quality finish.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Experience with heavy or specialty industrial equipment is preferred.
- Background in equipment restoration or refurbishment beyond painting is preferred.
