Your core responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on conveyors, robots, and production machinery
  • Troubleshoot electro‑mechanical issues; repair/replace defective components
  • Program/modify PLCs; resolve controls-related problems
  • Read and apply blueprints, electrical drawings, and technical specifications
  • Fabricate or modify parts when needed
  • Collaborate with Production Supervisors to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals

Daily maintenance practices

  • Inspect, test, and when necessary dismantle equipment to diagnose problems
  • Use auditory/visual cues to identify anomalies; confer with supervisors/maintenance teammates
  • Clean and lubricate bearings, shafts, gears per PM standards
  • Install/repair transformers, wiring, electrical/electronic components
  • Lay out, assemble, and maintain piping; service hydraulic/pneumatic systems, gauges, valves, and regulators
  • Install, program, or repair automated equipment including robots and programmable controllers

What you bring

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated experience as a production maintenance mechanic/technician
  • Comfort reading prints, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Attention to detail; follows SOPs and work instructions
  • Adaptable, organized, and steady in a fast-moving environment
  • Committed to quality and continuous improvement
  • English proficiency; computer literate
  • Completed CNC, VFD, and PLC training (or present valid certifications)
  • Forklift certification; lifting certification

Team and growth

Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll support day-to-day maintenance and long-term reliability planning. You’ll contribute to continuous improvement for AmbaFlex Manufacturing through OEE tracking, structured work requests, and preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
