A day on this team
Your shift starts at 7:00 PM. You scan the overnight work queue in the computerized maintenance system, pull spares from inventory, and head to the production floor. A sensor fault triggers on a conveyor line—you isolate the circuit, follow Lockout/Tagout, diagnose the issue with schematics in hand, and return the line to service. Later, you complete a scheduled PM on HVAC equipment, log GMP-compliant documentation, and update downtime records. Before handoff, you brief operations and the next tech on findings and upcoming work.

- Assist with commissioning and installation of new assets and related utilities.

- Follow Lockout/Tagout, SDS/MSDS, environmental, and hot‑work procedures at all times.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and respond constructively to audit observations.
- Grow technical capability via training, certifications, and hands‑on learning.
- Use a CMMS to execute work orders, record maintenance, and complete assigned training.
- Work in alignment with the STERIS Code of Business Conduct, GMPs, and all safety directives.
