Industrial Estimator

-Develop budgets with preliminary plan information and professional knowledge and expertise.
-Request additional information and work directly with Project Managers, Foreman, and clients.
-Conduct site visits and attend pre-bid meetings to understand project scope.
-Review bid documents and create history of pre-bid RFPs and attend pre-bid meetings.
-Review and verify job scope, general conditions, job schedule, profit and subcontractor pricing with the Project Manager.
-Create bid documents such as Scope of Work and Schedule of Values
-Calculate costs of subcontract labor, general conditions, and materials.




-Experience working within industrial mechanical contracting field.
-Experience performing mechanical estimating for industrial projects
-Basic knowledge of ASME and piping codes is a plus.
-Familiarity with computerized estimating programs is a plus.
-The ability to interpret blueprints.
-Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
-Able to travel to client sites within the Baltimore Metro Area with occasional travel out of state around the Mid-Atlantic region.
