About the role
Each day on-site in Richmond, IL, you’ll arrive ready to keep a busy manufacturing facility running safely and smoothly. Reporting to the Facilities/Maintenance Manager and embedded within our Manufacturing & Operations job family, you’ll balance scheduled preventive work with real-time problem solving—always leading by example to promote safe work practices and continuously sharpening your craft through ongoing training and development.
What your day looks like
Work through the preventive maintenance schedule in full compliance with company, local, state, and federal safety standards.
Tackle routine building upkeep and support small alteration projects across the site.
Service and troubleshoot mechanical building systems, with a focus on facility HVAC and automation equipment.
What you bring
5+ years of general building repair experience (preferred).
Your own tools and strong troubleshooting instincts.
Hands-on electrical and mechanical aptitude; ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
Comfort with basic computer tasks and solid math skills.
Self-directed work style with minimal supervision; willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
Physical and work environment
Ability to exert 50–100 lbs. of force occasionally, 25–50 lbs. frequently, and 10–20 lbs. constantly.
Standing and walking may be required for up to 90% of the workday.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Richmond, IL.
