What you’ll work on
- Hands-on troubleshooting and repair for electric, battery, and gas equipment.
- Focus on medium–large floor grinders, dust collectors, power trowels, and light compaction gear.
- Support the Technical Services group with root-cause analysis and repair documentation.
- Process customer returns to restore equipment to spec and readiness.
- Rework/modify inventory units and install updates or retrofits.
- Interface with customers, field sales, and internal teams to resolve issues and provide guidance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in equipment assembly, service, and/or fabrication preferred.
- Advanced technical education/training is advantageous.
- Comfort with PCs for diagnostics and service records.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Fluent reading of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic drawings/schematics.
- Excellent judgment, problem-solving, and cross-functional/customer collaboration.
Physical requirements
- Grasp, power grip, pinch, and twist/turn with hands/body.
- Carry up to 75 lbs up, down, and overhead; push; climb up/over/under.
- Reach around/under/over/above shoulder height.
